Hey ya'll. I know it's been a few days since my last update, and for that I am truly....well, guilty. Little bit of life, little bit of drawing block, and a couple of video game releases kept me from successfully accomplishing much in the way of presentable work.
But, I'm working on this lil' fella here, whom I adore. Gonna color him now.

Crazy, he's a lefty!
Yeah, I'd love to say I had some kind of significant reason for making him a lefty, but truth be told...the dude in the reference pic I used was a lefty.
I didn't even notice until I was pretty much done with the linework. I had put a strap in there, and wasn't sure if it looked good, so I was looking back and forth at the reference and mine...and noticed his strap was on the bottom. Then it hit me. Oops!

You should start Illustration Friday this week. I know I am. The topic is Monster. Ooh, spooky.
I love how the entire design is cohesive...even the pegs have a sharp, tooth-like quality.
