Chopped

Whew! Been a bit too long since my last post. Well, I was working on this one for a few days, and then I couldn't post it due to it being a surprise present for my Father in-law. That's him there, on the chopper. I'm really happy with how it came out, and surprisingly it was a blast to draw and color, even though the thought of starting it scared me for quite a few days before I did. I gave it to him this weekend, and he loved it.

Make sure you click on it for a bit higher res version.

I really like this one. I'm going to post it on the HOG bulletin board at the Harley shop. Dad.

I love the movement in this. I'm also digging his arms. I like how big they are compared to the rest of his body.

psshhh you call that "a bit long between posts"? Try 3 weeks. I'm the queen of procrastination :p

Nice work!! I love how squashed the bike is, and how high the handlebars are--it has a nice flow to it.

great play of shapes in this one.
The colors, the chrome effect and flames are all very nice.

Sweet.

My wife will dig it.
She has a 2003 Sportster.

Keep it up and don't be ashamed of your down time - I think your current post schedule is plenty good!

Your father in-law looks to be a huge man. Must have made asking for his daughter's hand in marriage a bit of a scary task.

Nice art... as always.
